On Friday, the 9thof November, the “Running without borders” race will take place in Jerusalem. This is a Jewish-Arab race with 5K and 10K distances. Here is a link to the organizers’ website.
This is a fun and relaxed sport event, that sends a message of strengthening ties between Arabs and Jews.
Although it is possible to register as individuals, we hope to bring together a large group of students and faculty, and we invite you to be part of the group of the Hebrew University runners. You don’t need to run to participate, walking is also fine!
Here are 3 good reasons to participate as part of the group:
- Increase our group and support for the event.
- Registration fees are lower for groups (47 NIS for 5K, and 69 NIS for 10K, instead of 65 and 95 with an individual registration).
- You can receive and run with a dedicated Hebrew University running shirt, at an attractive price. We will design and order DryFit T-shirts with logos in Hebrew and Arabic. It is not required to order or run with the shirt, but if many of us wear it, it will send a stronger message.

- Full name
- Your email address
- List of all runners you want to include (friends, family members, etc…). For each participant, please indicate whether they will join the 5K or 10K, and whether they would like to order a shirt. If so, please indicate the shirt size. Depending on the number of shirts ordered, the cost will probably range from 20 to 30 NIS.
Please send us the information no later than October 15th, we will update you regarding the exact cost of the shirt, as well as how to pay and to pick up the shirts (we will distribute the shirts in each campus and during the morning of the event).
