Approved: Class Action on Discrimination against Arab Students at Amusement Park

The District Court approved a request for a settlement presented as part of a class action on the discrimination of Arab students at an amusement park, reflected in the allocation of separate days of operation. According to the settlement, The Respondent will donate 4000 tickets to the Park, to be distributed in schools in the Arab sector. Approved: Class Action against Kol Barama

The supreme court approved the District Court decision to allow Kolech, the Religious Women's Forum, to present a Class Action against the Kol Barama radio station, claiming that a declared policy held by the radio station in the years 2009-2011 according to which it will not include women in its broadcasts is forbidden discrimination by the Prohibition of Discrimination in Products, Services and Entry into Places of Entertainment and Public Places Law.
